Mystical Medleys: A Vintage Cartoon Tarot by Gary Hall

This deck is printed almost like it is on "old" newsprint paper. The images use the RWS influence yet have a totally fresh take on the imagery overall. This is one of my favorite decks to work with as it is light-hearted enough that even the heavier cards in the deck keep an air of comic relief that helps when reading for self or others. Everyone who sees this deck when I use it to read for them absolutely LOVES it, as well. I highly recommend Mystical Medleys to those new or experienced to tarot. Sure, it is a fun "collector's" deck. That said, the illustrations are so fun that they add some "readability" to them that newcomers to tarot may appreciate. The tiny book inside is bound to open flat making it user friendly to use in a small format. It is hardbound! Imagine that?! Some people think the cards are a bit thick or don't shuffle smoothly with their texture as I have read in other reviews at different sites. I have had no problem using this deck and thoroughly enjoy the texture and quality of the cards. I wouldn't change anything about it. Also, the box is secured with a magnet so it is super protective. Don't delay in getting this deck!
